The Single Hill taproom is a social space that encourages slowing down, breathing, and engaging in quality time with others. Bring your kids, your laptop, a crew of friends or just a book and you’ll find yourself right at home in our inviting taproom or shady patio.

Single Hill focuses on top quality ingredients from the region to brew a diverse and evolving lineup of beers. We keep our 16 taps stocked with refreshing light beers, tart and fruity sours, hoppy and hoppier IPAs, and a range of classic styles. And, we always have experimental beers on tap from our 3-vessel Experimentor fermentation system. Our goal is for you to find something you like and for us to continually hone our craft and push the envelope for quality, interesting beer.

FOOD // A rotating cast of food vendors are featured here at Single Hill. You can find Winey Dogs every Wednesday, and Tandem Unicycle every Thursday & Friday. Tuesday, Saturday & Sunday change weekly, so give us a call to find out who’s on the patio this weekend!

Outside food is always welcome in addition to our food vendors, so don’t be shy about getting takeout from a local favorite, or ordering a pizza delivered to the taproom!

BEER TO GO // Need beer for a party? Want to sip on Single Hill at home? We offer almost everything we make in a 4-pack, while the fanciest brews might end up in 500ml bottles. Looking for a keg? Call ahead to find out our current availability.

OTHER DRINKS // For those abstaining from beer, we offer a select few wines from our friends at Gilbert Cellars, a rotating cider & seltzer tap, draft root beer, and bottles of ginger beer and kombucha.

Just over a week ago, we teamed up with Breakside Just over a week ago, we teamed up with Breakside Brewing in Portland to collaborate on our first Fresh Hop beer of the season! It's a Fresh Hop IPA called On the Road Again. The day before the brew, Zach & Tristan went down to Oregon to meet up with the Breakside crew and rustle up some OR hops for the brew. The gang made it back to Yakima with fresh wet Goschie Farms Strata and Sodbuster Farms Simcoe. The next day we headed out to Wenas Hop Company for freshly dried Centennial that we pelletized at the brewery. Our friends from Haas swung by with some Yakima Golding Farms fresh wet Sabro to round out the hot side. The following week we dry-hopped On the Road Again with Roy Farms Harvest Fresh Strata and Van Horn Farms cascade. This punchy start to our Fresh Hop season comes out on draft and in cans at our taproom tomorrow!

We brewed this beer in collaboration with Yakima Chief Hops and Cody Beebe & the Crooks to showcase some of the stellar hops being grown down on Fort Road. Featuring the citrusy tent pole of modern IPA hops, Simcoe, as well as exciting new experimental varieties HBC 586 and HBC 1019, Fort Road is an IPA for everyone. We've got a new IPA for you today! Grizzly Chain i We've got a new IPA for you today! Grizzly Chain is a punchy, modern IPA brewed in collaboration with our friends over at Hopsteiner! Brewed with 100% Hopsteiner hops, Grizzly Chain features Sultana™, known for its pineapple, pine, and bright citrus flavors; Calyspo™ Salvo™, to impart pomme and tropical flavors; and Experimental Hop 17701, which its breeder, Nicholi Pitra, describes as having notes of peach, and apricot. The resulting IPA is a beast of tropical and stone fruit flavor with a resinous kick. Available today on draft and in cans at our taproom, and in the wild soon!
Join us Thursday for live music from An American F Join us Thursday for live music from An American Forrest! An American Forrest is a Western Songwriter who has spent a lot of time alone. When he does roll into town, he brings with him words and rhythms that can only be found trotting on the backs of half broke horses, up steep canyons, looking for cows and trying to outrun storms. Forrest grew up in Washington State and now finds his home at an end-of-the-road-County in Northeast Oregon where the hippies and cowboys can still be found hanging out in dive bars and theatres alike. His Western Music, like that of many of his influences, is about both the beauty and the harshness of the lifestyle he enjoys. See you soon!

We opened our doors in June 2018 as the culmination of years of planning and a few intense months of building our dream. Zach Turner and Ty Paxton envisioned Single Hill as a hub of community that would allow them to contribute to making Yakima an even better place to live. We dove in for the long haul by setting our standards high, rallying a lot of friends to help and having a good time working hard.

With our unique approach to brewing and proximity to farms, we commit ourselves to crafting outstanding beer that celebrates our region. We ask that dogs be kept on leash and please, no barking.

Of course!

Almost every beer we make is available in a 4-pack of 16oz cans. Prices range from $13 to $20 based on the cost of the beer to produce. Our rarest & most specialized beers also get packaged in 500ml bottles about once a year.

Yes.

We sell two sizes of kegs to go – 50L (13.2 gallons) and ⅙ barrel (5.2 gallons). Our daily beers are usually available in both sizes, but it is always best to call ahead and ask!

There is a $100 keg deposit that is fully refundable when the empty keg shell is returned. Party taps are also available for a $40 rental fee (please note: we have limited party taps so they are available on a first come, first serve basis).

To comply with Washington state law, alcoholic beverages other than beer and wine are not allowed to be consumed on premises. As such, we serve beer, wine, and cider, but not spirits. Guests are not permitted to bring in any outside alcohol.

Tabs left open at the end of business hours will have a 20% gratuity fee assessed and will be charged to the card left on file.

We will hold your card and receipt in the taproom for you to claim at your convenience.

Single Hill Brewing is dedicated to supporting our local community. Please note, due to a high number of requests we are unable to fulfill every sponsorship request we receive.
